Compared to hard- or paperback books, e-books are generally much cheaper (sometimes more than 50% less expensive than the same book in paperback). People who say "I need to have a real book in my hands" may be missing the great convenience of carrying a compact reading device (e.g., a Kindle, an iPad or similar tablet, or even a smart phone) to make for easy accessibility. Another little secret: authors tend to collect larger royalties on e-books than on other formats! I'm happy to meet anyone who still reads books of ANY kind. If you are an avid reader, consider an e-book next time you order your favorite genre.
